Air China selected Messier-Bugatti to equip A319s with wheels and carbon brakes and TPMS
These 8 new aircraft will be fitted with Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)and Sepcarb III OR-PLUS (Oxidation Resistant) carbon brakes. They will be for use by Zhejiang Airline, one of the airlines in the Air China group (Air China, China Southwest, Zhejiang Airline and Inner Mongolia Airline, etc.) The first delivery is planned for January 2003. For Messier-Bugatti this is the fifth wheels and brakes contract with the group, since the following have already been signed: * Two contracts with Major Company Air China in 1996, relating to three A340-300s (Joint Venture with Messier-Goodrich) and in 1997 relating to five 767-300ERs * A contract with Zhejiang Airline relating to three A319s and five A320s (1997) * A contract with China Southwest relating to three A340s.
