Center / Industry News Goodrich to Supply Wheels and Brakes for Bombardier
CHARLOTTE -(Dow Jones)- Goodrich Corp. (GR) will supply wheels and brakes for Bombardier Inc.'s (BBD.A, BBD.B) Learjet 40 and Learjet 45 XR aircraft. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Tuesday, Goodrich said deliveries of the Learjet 40 are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2004, while Learjet 45 XR service will begin in mid-2003. The Learjet 40 is a smaller version of the Learjet 45 aircraft, and the Learjet 45 XR has enhanced load, range and speed over the standard Learjet 45. Goodrich, with 2001 aerospace sales of $4.18 billion, said it supplies wheels and brakes for the majority of Bombardier business jets.
